Frequently asked questions
Dr. Charlotte Grinberg provides a direct membership model of primary care to provide more a personal, one-on-one relationship between the patient and their provider. She believes in being responsive and compassionate and her practice size is restricted to a set number of patients to ensure there is time to meet each patient's needs. She also uses AI tools to assist with documentation and communication. Dr. Charlotte Grinberg does not accept payment from health insurance companies. Patients do still need health insurance to pay for their other health care needs such as certain laboratory tests, medications, specialty care, emergencies, and hospitalizations.
Longevity medicine (also sometimes referred to as functional health) is an emerging field that focuses on extending the healthy, functional years of an individual's life by preventing, detecting, and treating age-related diseases and disorders. In addition to providing traditional primary care services, Dr. Grinberg believes in additional personalized testing and lifestyle modifications (diet, exercise, sleep, and stress management). At least eighty percent of chronic diseases are a direct result of lifestyle choices. This means that our day-to-day decisions have a significant impact on our overall health. She also provides individual longevity consults to order and interpret specialized tests and recommend specific interventions. These insights allow for a highly tailored approach to optimizing health, improving resilience, and slowing age-related decline.
Dr. Grinberg does not bill insurance. Insurance-based system leads to rushed, lower-quality, and more expensive healthcare. Don't die years sooner than you would otherwise! Get a doctor who has the time for you, manages your care holistically, cares about you as a person, and is up-to-date on the most cutting-edge longevity science. I'm always surprised to hear that people spend thousands of dollars per year just on lattes!
